ACCESSIBLE & INCLUSIVE VIRTUAL TOURS

Accessibility Isn’t a Niche, It’s the New Standard
Accessibility is not a niche—it’s a fundamental part of creating inclusive and engaging virtual experiences. With immersive, interactive tours, everyone can explore your space—no matter their mobility, sensory, or physical requirements.
The beauty of a space should be accessible to all. These tours break down barriers and open doors, allowing individuals to explore environments in ways that work for them. Whether it’s previewing entryways, locating accessible washrooms, or reducing the stress of the unknown—virtual access brings real-world freedom.
Everyone benefits from accessibility. Businesses that prioritize inclusive design build trust, expand their reach, and demonstrate leadership in creating equitable spaces. These tours don’t just inform—they empower.
Highlight your commitment to inclusion and help every visitor feel seen, supported, and ready to connect—with confidence.
Let’s create a virtual experience that welcomes everyone.

Highlighting Accessible Trail Experiences in Northern BC
As someone deeply committed to accessibility in all environments, I was honoured to work with Access BC, Spinal Cord Injury BC (SCI BC), and Northern Tourism BC on a project that opens up some of the region’s most beautiful wild spaces to more people. Together, we created a collection of immersive virtual tours highlighting accessible trails and recreation areas across Northern British Columbia.
From the lush boardwalks of Chun T’oh Whudujut Provincial Park (Ancient Forest Park) to the geothermal magic of Liard River Hot Springs, these tours help people of all abilities explore Northern BC’s incredible landscapes—before they even lace up their boots. Each virtual tour gives a detailed look at trail surfaces, gradients, amenities, and natural features, making trip planning easier, safer, and more inclusive.
This work goes far beyond documentation—it’s about inviting more people to connect with nature and experience the freedom of outdoor exploration on their own terms. For individuals seeking to understand what to expect on the trail, these tools are empowering and practical.
It’s been a privilege to collaborate with organizations who share this vision, and to help share the stories of accessibility woven into BC’s backcountry.

Empowering Inclusive Tourism in Thompson Okanagan
I’m incredibly proud to have led the photography for a transformative project that brings accessibility to the forefront of tourism in British Columbia. In collaboration with the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA), Spinal Cord Injury BC (SCI BC), and Access BC, we developed over 40 immersive 3D virtual tours showcasing the accessible features of various locations and venues across the Thompson Okanagan region
These virtual tours are more than just visual representations; they are tools of empowerment. They allow individuals to explore accommodations, wineries, visitor centres, and attractions virtually, ensuring that everyone can plan their visits with confidence and ease. This initiative aligns perfectly with my mission to create inclusive and engaging virtual experiences that break down barriers and foster a sense of belonging for all.
Working alongside TOTA, SCI BC, and Access BC has been an honour. Together, we’ve taken significant steps toward making the beauty of the Thompson Okanagan region accessible to all. This project stands as a testament to what can be achieved when organizations unite with a shared vision of inclusion and accessibility.

Because Inclusion Should Be Built In—Not Bolted On
At Jody Wall Photography, I help businesses turn accessibility from an afterthought into a feature—right at the front door. Through immersive, thoughtfully designed virtual tours, we showcase essential features like ramps, elevators, clear signage, restrooms, and sensory-friendly areas. These aren’t just details—they’re the difference between someone visiting your space or skipping it entirely.
In partnership with organizations like Spinal Cord Injury BC, I’ve developed accessibility-first tours that empower real people to explore with confidence regardless if they’re planning a trip or looking for a place where they feel truly welcome.
Why It Matters:
🔹 Expanded Reach – Open your doors to all travellers including seniors, families with small children, and people with disabilities.
🔹 Increased Confidence – Help visitors and residents know what to expect—reducing uncertainty and making planning easier.
🔹 Enhanced Visibility – Boost your presence across Google, tourism directories, and community platforms.
🔹 Competitive Advantage – Set yourself apart by leading with inclusion—an increasingly vital part of guest experience and brand reputation.
Expanding Inclusive Access Across British Columbia
Virtual access is a critical part of how people navigate the world—This is especially important when exploring new spaces. At Jody Wall Photography, I create accessibility-aware virtual tours that give every visitor the tools to plan with confidence, comfort, and clarity.
These tours support everyone, including people using mobility devices, seniors, neurodivergent guests, and anyone who benefits from previewing a space before visiting. By capturing clear walkways, entryways, restrooms, signage, and sensory-friendly environments, we remove barriers long before someone steps inside.
Businesses, municipalities, and tourism operators across BC use these tools to:
🔹 Ensure Universal Design and improve guest experience
🔹 Boost engagement from new and returning visitors
🔹 Increase visibility on search platforms, travel guides, and accessibility-focused online directories
🔹 Support regional accessibility initiatives in partnership with groups like Spinal Cord Injury BC and Access BC
From community centres to galleries, trails to retail spaces—these tours help ensure your location is one that everyone can connect with.
